Dimerco Express Group has shipped 30 tonnes of oversized petrochemical pumps from Los Angeles to Tianjin for one of China’s largest national oil companies.
It split the shipment into two routes into China and collaborated with the selected carriers and contacts at Tianjin Customs, clearing the shipments within 24 hours, while maintaining real-time communication with both the customer and Dimerco team members via group chat on social media.
Dimerco district sales director of North China, Alexander King says: “To manage the project complexity and meet our customer’s extremely tight deadline, we leveraged our local expertise, relationship with two selected airlines and local customs, network of contacts and innovative use of social media.”
