Swissport to run Finnair Cargo’s COOL Nordic Hub

Swissport will take over the running of Finnair Cargo’s COOL Nordic Cargo Hub at Helsinki Airport on 1 June.

The state-of-the-art COOL Nordic Cargo Hub has been fully operational for over a year, and with operations now fully stabilised, Finnair Cargo aims to shift focus to network-wide data-driven operational excellence.

Janne Tarvainen, managing director of Finnair Cargo says Swissport offers the most competitive overall package to further develop cargo operations.

He says: “We are confident that with their solid industry knowledge and drive for innovation and operational excellencethey are an ideal partner for us to develop and expand our COOL concept of data-driven and proactive operations steering in the Finnair network.”
