Emery Air implements CHAMP’s Cargospot Handling

Ground Handling agent Emery Air has implemented CHAMP’s Cargospot Handling solution. The solution supports the Chicago-based ground handling agent’s operations at Chicago-Rockford International Airport boosting efficiency and speed of its cargo operations that service the US air cargo supply chain.

CHAMP’s Cargospot Handling is a sophisticated and comprehensive cargo operations and terminal management solution that is straightforward and efficient for ground handlers and terminal operators to use, allowing for easy training with minimal time required.

With Cargospot Mobile, Emery Air can now take advantage of a range of iOS and Android mobile and tablet devices and reduce the inefficiencies brought on by using non-native systems. With Cargospot Handling, all data collected on the warehouse floor is now fed directly into Emery’s cargo management application.

“Emery Air looks forward to benefitting from the automation services provided by Cargospot Handling and Mobile,” says Joseph Matozzo, director of Cargo at Emery Air. “These technologies bring a level of control and order to our warehouse operations. With it, we are able to efficiently move freight from dock to tarmac.”

“We are pleased Emery Air is now powered by our Cargospot solutions for GHAs,” says David Linford, director, global sales and account management at CHAMP Cargosystems. “Our Cargospot Mobile solution offers ground handlers the ability to efficiently manage their cargo movement using commodity handset devices and real-time data synchronization to the Cargospot system.”
