He will also utilise his experience and connections in the industry to grow and enhance the company’s existing customer base globally.

Nash commented: “I’m delighted to join Chapman Freeborn and bring my knowledge of the energy industry to help develop a strategy that enhances our existing customer experience, but also attract new clients, whether this is oil and gas producers, service companies (upstream and downstream), or the logistics companies that partner with them.

“With the foundation of expertise, professionalism, and customer care that Chapman Freeborn is renowned for, the aim is to build on this so that we are the critical aviation solution provider to the energy industry.

“My focus is now to work with the global team to achieve this”, Nash concludes.

Nash will report into Neil Dursley, Group Chief Commercial Officer at Chapman Freeborn.

“Chapman Freeborn is currently on the journey of strategically developing and strengthening our industry verticals. The oil and gas industry plays an increasingly vital role in the global economy and we are highly experienced in this sector. ” says Dursley.

He continues, “We are already a key player in the air charter and consultancy side of the sector, and Gavin’s presence brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to enhance this even further. His many years of experience in energy procurement and logistics will be invaluable for our business and I am delighted to have him on the team.”

Nash enjoys running and watching his local football team, and spends his spare time with his wife and their two young children.
