Chapman Freeborn celebrates successful 2023

Chapman Freeborn, the global air charter and leasing specialist and part of Avia Solutions Group, has hosted an airline networking event in Dubai to celebrate a fantastic year for the aviation sector.

Coinciding with the IATA Slot Conference and the Dubai Airshow, the event took place at the Siddharta Lounge in Dubai Marina on the evening of Wednesday 15th November.

One hundred and fifty guests from Chapman Freeborn’s ACMI, passenger charter and air cargo charter divisions joined together to reflect on the successes of 2023, enjoying entertainment from a mentalist, canapes and drinks in a beautiful rooftop setting overlooking Dubai’s impressive skyline.

Gediminas Žiemelis, Chairman of the Board at Avia Solutions Group, was also in attendance.

Guests received a signature Chapman Freeborn Airchartering gift: a crystal ornament featuring the skyline the event was set against.

Scott Collier, President – ACMI Leasing at Chapman Freeborn, said, “This was a unique opportunity to showcase our company and our Group’s offering to a captive audience from the Dubai Airshow and IATA Slot Conference. It was great to be able to celebrate a successful year with our valued partners and many inspiring aviation leaders.”

The event featured an address from Russi Batliwala, Chairman of the Board at Chapman Freeborn. He commented, “It was a wonderful evening spent with friends, partners and colleagues. It’s been an exciting year for Chapman Freeborn Airchartering, as we have reached our 50th anniversary milestone, and this event was a perfect way to celebrate 2023’s achievements as we all prepare for another challenging year in 2024.”
