Qatar to serve Bucharest twice daily

Qatar Airways has celebrated five years of flights to Romania by increasing services to Bucharest to twice daily from 1 August.

The Airbus A320 flights from Doha’s Hamad International Airport to Bucharest’s Henri Coanda International Airport will increase to 10 times a week from 2 June before going double daily from 1 August.

Qatar Airways Group chief executive, Akbar Al Baker says: “As a global airline, we are committed to connecting Romania to our worldwide network of more than 150 destinations through our award-winning hub and home, Hamad International Airport.”

“As such, we are delighted to be celebrating the fifth anniversary since Qatar Airways commenced its direct flights to Bucharest, by increasing our capacity and frequency on this route from a daily to double daily service.”
