The WACO System appoints C.Steinweg Logistics as its member for South Africa

 The WACO System (WACO) has welcomed C. Steinweg Logistics (C. Steinweg) into its freight network to be a member for South Africa following its rigorous vetting process.

C. Steinweg, founded in 1847, offers a broad range of logistics and handling services including warehousing, screening, packing, and customs clearance.

“C. Steinweg is a great fit for WACO as it has built its reputation on professionalism and reliability,” said Richard Charles, Chief Executive Officer, WACO.

“Africa is an exciting and growing market and we are confident that C. Steinweg will enhance WACO’s global network.”

C. Steinweg handles metals, soft commodities, chemicals, ferro-alloys, general cargo, and project cargo while offering added services such as screening, packing, and blending.

Our initial engagements with the network members has been fantastic and we look forward to building strong relationships and opportunities within the network and putting sub-Saharan Africa firmly on the map,” said Grant Clarke, Managing Director, C. WACO’s 2023 Annual General Meeting and 50th anniversary celebration is set to take place from the 23rd to 26th of April in Sorrento, Italy.
