Turkish Cargo adds freighter flights to Stansted

Turkish Cargo has added freighter flights to Stansted Airport, which are expected to feed the Middle East region, as well as the Middle East and Asia.

The London airport will be served by Airbus A330 Freighters on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays on five different routes.

The Wednesday service operates on an Istanbul-Riyadh-Nairobi-Izmir-London-Maastricht-Istanbul route.

On Friday, the freighter flies on an Istanbul-Johannesburg-Nairobi-Izmir-London-Maastricht-Istanbul route.

The Sunday route will alternate between Istanbul-Dammam-Nairobi-Izmir-London-Maastricht-Istanbul and an Istanbul-Khartoum-Nairobi-Izmir-London-Maastricht-Istanbul rotation.

Exports from the UK will consist mainly of mechanical machines including military supplies, automobiles, car parts, motors, machinery and chemical substances.

Imports to London will include precious stones, plastic products, automobiles, gold, crude oil, turbo jets, smart phones and pharmaceuticals.
