ATRAN Airlines becomes winner of Eurasian aviation marketing award 2021

ATRAN Airlines, the express carrier within Volga-Dnepr Group, has received the first prize during the Eurasian aviation marketing awards. The official ceremony took place on September 22 as part of the Network Eurasian Route Development Forum held in Moscow.

The company was chosen among other candidates based on the results of the commercial performance and effectiveness across objective scoring of measurable aspects for 2021.

Vitaliy Andreev, general director of ATRAN Airlines, highlights: ‘We are honoured to be standing here in person and accepting the prize in an offline format. We would like to thank the organisers and the expert jury for acknowledgement of our performance and efforts. The pandemic keeps on introducing new challenges and changes into our life and work although the last 18 months have shown the importance of the air cargo sector which continue delivering vital cargo and supporting uninterrupted supply chains. For the first six months of 2021 ATRAN has transported almost 24,000 tonnes of cargo – a 50% surge YOY and we are aimed at further enhancement of our services with the provision of effective logistics solution together with other carriers of Volga-Dnepr Group’.

In 2021, ATRAN goes ahead with the fleet renewal strategy deploying two additional Boeing 737-800BCF. The company reestablished scheduled connections between cities of China, Russia and Europe for timely delivery of e-Commerce goods amid the growing volumes of international cross border trade.
