China Eastern to link Chicago and Shanghai

China Eastern Airlines Boeing 737-800 Next Generation, leased from China Development Bank Financial Leasing Company


China Eastern Airlines is to increase US services with daily flights between Chicago and Shanghai from 18 March.

The airline will use a Boeing 777-300ER on the service between Chicago O’Hare International Airport and Shanghai Pudong International Airport, making it the only Chinese carrier to director connect Chicago and Shanghai.

China Eastern Airlines chief marketing officer, Dong Bo says: “We keep the guest [at the] top of [our] mind at every touch point, and are proud to be the only Chinese airline to offer this direct route between Chicago O’Hare International Airport and Shanghai Pudong International Airport.”

On 26 February, China Eastern took delivery of the first of 30 Boeing 737-800 Next Generations, leased from China Development Bank Financial Leasing Company.
