U-Freight delivers practical insight for logistics students

The U-Freight Group welcomed a group of students studying for a Higher Diploma in Aviation and Logistics at the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education to its flagship e+Solutions (ePlus) ecommerce logistics centre in Kwai Chung.

The students obtained practical experience of how e+Solutions is embracing innovative technology and adapting business models to optimise warehouse operations, by deploying warehouse automation in daily operations, with a particular focus on the invaluable role played by Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs).

The students witnessed first hand how automation and AMRs underpin e+ Solutions services, which were established five years ago and offer a comprehensive e-commerce logistics package: from dedicated storage space for the entrepreneurs’ products, to order processing and fulfilment services, including final delivery to customers.U-Freight CEO, Simon Wong said: “By welcoming the group of students to our logistics centre we were offering them a captivating glimpse into the world of e-commerce logistics by showcasing our advanced warehouse technology and equipping them with a comprehensive understanding of the industry’s day-to-day operations.
